There’s more to Early Years Direct than immediately meets the eye, as this list of surprising, quirky and slightly silly facts goes to show!

1  Wobbler Chairs (which don’t wobble a bit) are our top selling product. We reckon we’ve sold over 19,000 of them!

2  In November 2017 we shipped our heaviest ever pallet of items – it weighed in at 475kg and was delivered to Godmanchester

3  We sell 113 different kinds of balls. Some sparkle, some have spikes, some make noises – and they’re all fun!  

4  Coincidently our Business Director Paul Harris calculates he has walked 113 miles to and from our kitchen over the years to make cups of tea.

5  We think our most unusual product is Dinosaur Bones. They can be buried for budding palaeontogolists to dig up!

6  Early Years Direct has sent orders to as far away as East Timor, China and Nigeria.

7  Our team’s favourite place to pick up lunch is The Glider Café. So called because it overlooks the local Gliding Club!

8  You’ll always find tape guns loaded and waiting in our warehouse – all ready for getting orders on the way quickly!

9  The tableware we supply is so tough that it won’t break even if a lorry drives over it!

10 Artist Damien Hirst has (not entirely) secret premises close to our offices in Gloucestershire.
